England vs Germany Betting Tips: Sterling to step up once again at Wembley Stadium

class=”article_teaser__2t5do”>With Kane struggling to get up to speed, Al Hain-Cole is backing his Three Lions teammate to deliver against Low's men with a third goal of Euro 2020

After drawing a blank in all three group games, Harry Kane will be desperate to rediscover his goal-scoring touch when England take on Germany at Wembley on Tuesday.

The Tottenham striker has now hit the net just twice in his last 12 appearances for Gareth Southgate’s team, although remains bet365’s 4/1 (5.00) favourite to come up with the goods at the best possible moment by opening the scoring in the last 16 encounter.

Those odds look rather slim for a player who has looked well short of his lethal best so far, as do 11/8 (2.38) anytime odds.

Instead, Raheem Sterling is a much more appealing anytime option at 13/5 (3.60) considering he has scored both of the Three Lions’ goals at this tournament, making it 14 goals in his last 19 international appearances.

Marcus Rashford has five goals to his name in his last nine England appearances but holds less appeal at 11/4 (3.75) after starting as a substitute in all three group stage matches.

In contrast to their opponents, Joachim Low’s men have had little trouble in front of goal over the last couple of matches – scoring six times in two games via five different goalscorers.

As the only German player to score more than once, Kai Havertz looks like decent value at 15/2 (8.50) first goalscorer and 13/5 (3.60) anytime odds as he once again takes his place among a fluid frontline.

Serge Gnabry has so far failed to fire despite looking lively against Portugal and Hungary but can be backed at 21/10 (3.10) to get off the mark with a 17th goal in just 26 senior international appearances.

Thomas Muller was on target twice the last time these sides met in a major tournament, Die Mannschaft running out emphatic 4-1 winners at the 2010 World Cup.

However, having scored just one of his 39 international goals in his 15 most recent appearances, the Bayern Munich man seems unlikely to repeat that feat – available at 11/4 (3.75) to strike anytime.
