class=”article_teaser__2t5do”>With chances likely to be few and far between, Al Hain-Cole is backing the Red Devils' Portuguese star to make the difference against Tuchel's men
Goalmouth action is likely to be thin on the ground when Chelsea welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge for Sunday’s Premier League clash.
Thomas Tuchel’s side have conceded just twice in eight matches since he replaced Frank Lampard, while the Red Devils usually keep things tight in big games – playing out goalless draws in their most recent clashes with Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City.
Olivier Giroud has been made to fight for a place in the Blues’ attack under the new manager, although has surely staked a convincing claim after his sensational overhead kick winner in Tuesday’s Champions League victory over Atletico Madrid.
On target in two of the last three games, the Frenchman is bet365’s 4/1 (5.00) favourite to open the scoring in what promises to be a tight and tense affair, or 5/4 (2.25) to strike anytime.
Giroud’s main competition for the focal position in the Chelsea attack is Tammy Abraham, who is a 7/5 (2.40) shot to get on target for the 13th time in all competitions with a big goal here.
Timo Werner’s form in front of goal has not really picked up since his compatriot took the helm, although he can be backed at 7/4 (2.75) shot to find the back of the net for just the third time in 24 games in all competitions.
However, the most likely match-winner is surely to be found at the other end of the pitch, where Bruno Fernandes has scored seven times in his last 10 appearances for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.
With 20 goals to his name in all competitions already this campaign, the influential playmaker looks a potentially lucrative 13/2 (7.50) first goalscorer and very solid 21/10 (3.10) anytime bet.
Marcus Rashford will also fancy his chances of getting on the scoresheet against a favourite opponent, with the England striker priced at those same 21/10 (3.10) odds to add to his five goals against Chelsea – having not scored more against any other opposition.
Anthony Martial has struck four times in just six previous appearances against this opposition, although holds less appeal at 21/10 (3.10) after failing to score in 14 of his last 15 appearances.
